Jesus came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45).

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the world’s Savior.  “Jesus” is His birth name and “Christ” is His title.  The name Jesus means “the Lord saves,” and the title Christ means He is “Messiah,” the Promised One of God whose perfect life and substitutionary death on the cross take away the sin of the world.  Jesus rose from the dead on Easter morning, thereby demonstrating God’s power over death and the grave.  Because of Jesus, you needn’t fear death!

Moreover, Jesus is fully God and fully Man.  As God, He is the eternal Son of God without beginning or end.  As Man, He was born of the Virgin Mary, and we celebrate His birthday every Christmas!  All who believe in the God-Man, Jesus, will overcome sin and death and live forever with the Triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
